Have rec'd text messages of a sexual nature from this cell phone. Owner refuses to acknowledge or deny that they sent any text messages to my cell phone.
This call came from Verizon Wireless Sevices. They called to update me on a refund I had asked about. They did leave a message whwn I was unable to answer the call.
Oh...and I forgot to mention on my comment above. The Verizon rep. is from the company's call center located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
I was on the phone with a Verizon rep. to update my calling plan. The sales rep. was very helpful but as soon as she was done updating my plan, we got disconnected. She called me back with this number (505-999-5100) to finalize the transaction. We switched to Verizon last year and since then, I've grown to really dislike them because of bad customer service. I have to say that today changed my opinion about them by 10%. The representative that assisted me today far exceeded my expectation of providing great service.
It actually is a Verizon number. Their tech support department calls back its from one of their call centers. And of course its a landline. What do you expect a CALL CENTER to call from. And big corporations have more than one call center. If you dont want to give out the last 4 of your social then go to the store and add a password and give them that. or put a remark on your account to only discuss in-store with id. THEN they WONT ask for the last 4 of your social. By law they are required to verify you are who you say you are.
Yep! Just a new progam Verizon is implementing. 505-999-5100 called back to explain.
I got this call today 3 tomes in a row and I am NOT on Verizon, so it sounds like a scam to me then.
It's Verizon! I had called Verizon from my phone via 611 a week or so ago to get some technical support. Their technical support team called me from the 505-999-5100 number with an answer I was looking for.
SCAM SCAM SCAM
It's a scam. They want the last four of your social to be steal your credit card info. They are not Verizon! My dad fell for it and they changed my account password! Do not answer! Do not give them information!
The posters above are probably scammers too!! Notice some of the postere use the same language "it is indeed verizon"!!!!
It's a QWEST landline in Albuquerque New Mexico!!!!!!!!!!
I received this call yesterday and attempted to return the call today. Was informed by the computer voice that the number has been disconnected..
For me it was legitimate, I had emailed them to ask about some charges and they called back to explain. I didn't pick up but the voicemail was enough to answer my questions.
Got a call from Verizon regarding an email that i sent them. If you get a call from this number i recommend that you answer since they use this number for customer service and its probably to help you with any issues you may have.
