Called and didn't answer. Traced to a Verizon cell phone in Randolph, MA. Called back from my Google Voice number and it either rings a few times and then gives a busy signal or it immediately says that the call cannot be completed as dialed. Scumbag spammers/scammers.
If this number sends you a text, block the number, this is a SCAMMER.
This number texted me, claiming to be Mr. Blackwell, HR Dept., from a company named Hampoc Ltd. Claims he found my resume on Monster.com and they had a position for me. My web research of Hampoc Ltd. shows they have numerous locations listed as 'consultants' but NONE of the websites list phone numbers. Any reputable company would CALL a potential candidate, not send multiple lengthy texts. He never answered my question if they have a position at my salary level, then today texted asking if I was declining the 'offer'. I told him there was no offer made, my questions were not answered, and I found both the websites and his texting highly suspicious and very unprofessional, and that I considered them a scammer. Haven't heard from him since then! Depending on what website you look at, the location of this number is constantly changing...another scammer sign. A VIOP number is like Magic Jack, you enter your own location, when you plug it into your computer.
I got a txt from that person or computer last night

I recieved calls on my cell phone... The person taking my name... But then hung up, without speaking...
I have been receiving calls from people in India since 2013. It started as IT people saying my computer was infected and they wanted remote access to my pc, when I started asking questions they would hang up! I tried calling the number they called from but it would go to a magic jack voice mail. They have been calling all week but today I listened to what they wanted, they have my full name and claimed that I paid their company $150.00 for IT support in March. He claimed that the company is going out of business and wanted to give me a refund! Wanted all my information including bank account so they could "send me my refund". I asked to speak to a supervisor that spoke English since they claim to be in California but the same man (Peter) with a changed voice came on the line. I asked to be taken off their call list and be left alone and his reply was "why, what are u gonna do about it if we call u everyday?" Numbers they have called me from are- 339-955-6623 214-310-4069 786-752-7919
Microsoft scam. Told me that they were from "IT Solutions" and that my computer was having issues. Told them a string of how I really felt and hung up.
Got a call at 1 am on a Monday morning. The guy on the other end sounded like he was from India or the MiddleEast, and i'm not sure he knew english. After I said hello, he started repeating the same word, but I could not understand what it was. Like i said.. i don't think he was speaking English. After 5 or 10 seconds of this, I hung up
It's in Massachusetts. Found this interesting.
Same add, way different states but uses a different gmail email account.
Hangs up when we answer
CLEARLY some kind of telemarketer. She can't BEGIN to pronounce the IT guys name, and calls every day around the same time.
Never identifies herself, and based on the way the phone ID displays, it appears to be through a computer (or magic jack)
sapces so wouldn't show as link
Txt msg twice, loan scam, showing link but put sapces so wouldn't show as link
This number keeps calling me-- probably about 4 times this past week. When I answer, nobody says anything. I tried to call the number back but it says it is out of service. I would love to smash their face in.
Nobody there, after awhile I hear them hang up. Last time they called I said "please, your number still shows up on the caller ID" they hung up.
IPC has called my office a few times (we are a general contractor) but they always leave vague voicemails. When I answer my cellphone nobody says anthing, they just hang up. Sometimes three or four calls in a hour period.
Woman calling from IPC - wanting to know the name of our superintendant on a current project. Why??? Acted like she has done business with us before. We are a very small company and only do business with local municipalities. Out of state area codes are a dead give away that the person on the other line does not do business with our firm.
The woman calling from this phone number is a complete [***] and wouldn't identify what she even wanted. Instead, she scolded me about MY phone etiquette.
